Notification History

About 5 min read

The results of the email, SMS and WhatsApp messages sent for alarm notifications are listed on the History > Notification History screen. The screen can be opened by users with the Editor or AlarmManagement role and by the SystemAdmin group.

The screen shows the records of the last 30 days; older records are deleted automatically. Recipient details are shown masked.

WhatsApp records

To see WhatsApp records, select WhatsApp in the Channel list. The Provider column shows MetaCloudApi.

  • Accepted is the final status of WhatsApp records and shows that Meta accepted the message. Delivery and read information does not reach SCADA, so WhatsApp records do not move to the Delivered status.
  • Recipients without consent are not skipped; they appear as records in the Validation failed status.
  • If consent is withdrawn or the phone number changes before the message is sent, the record becomes Cancelled.
  • WhatsApp records in the Suspended by license status cannot be requeued; they only remain in the history.

For WhatsApp records, the Error code column shows known codes with their description, for example Recipient has no WhatsApp consent (WhatsAppConsentMissing):

Error codeMeaning
Recipient has no WhatsApp consent (WhatsAppConsentMissing)The user's WhatsApp consent is not recorded or has been withdrawn.

Reviewing suspended SMS

For users in the SystemAdmin group, the list shows check boxes and the Resume selected SMS and Cancel selected SMS buttons. These buttons are used only for SMS in the Suspended by license status; they do not apply to WhatsApp records:

  1. Select, one by one, the suspended SMS you want to send or cancel. There is no select all; at most 100 records can be selected.
  2. Press the relevant button and check the number of selected SMS in the confirmation window.
  • If the selection contains a record in another status or a record of a channel other than SMS, the buttons are not enabled.
  • Requeuing requires a valid SMS right and is subject to the provider's fees. Cancelling is also possible when the license has expired.
  • If you get the Selected SMS records changed. Refresh notification history. message, refresh the list and select again.

For the steps to follow after a license change, see the SMS Settings page.
