Introduction to 2WinScada
Introduction
This manual explains step by step how to use the 2WinScada software. 2WinScada is designed for monitoring, controlling and reporting industrial processes. Because it is web-based, it can be used with a web browser from any computer, tablet or panel PC that can reach it over the network.
The manual explains the basic concepts of the software, the screens of the web interface and the tasks you perform on them. The sections are organized by user role:
- Getting Started: The login screen, the general layout of the interface and a first project.
- Operator Guide: Day-to-day monitoring, reporting and history records.
- Engineering Guide: Tag, device, alarm, log and page definitions.
- System Administration: Users, license, backup and system settings.
The names of people, user names, e-mail addresses and company names in the screenshots and examples of this manual are made-up samples; they do not refer to real people or organizations.
